A 60-second read
One issue. An owner.
Evidence that the fix held.
See how the free Leak Check and Control Room fit into a manager’s working week.
Illustrative walkthrough. This is an example of the process, not a customer result or a live member workspace.
01 · Spot
An issue keeps coming back.
Your Leak Check answers flag weak handovers. Start with one recurring issue you can observe and change.
Example: a stock discrepancy keeps moving between shifts without a clear next action.
02 · Own
Give the next action an owner.
In Control Room, record the action, accountable role and deadline. Agree the evidence you will check before calling it resolved.
Action: reconcile the count against delivery and waste records. Owner: duty manager. Due: before tomorrow’s handover.
03 · Check
Completion needs evidence.
Review the count and supporting records. If the discrepancy is still unexplained, keep the issue open and record the next step.
A completed count is evidence of work. It does not, by itself, prove that waste or cost has fallen.
04 · Review
Did the fix hold this week?
At the weekly review, check for recurrence and decide whether to keep, adjust or replace the control.
Record a financial outcome only when your source records support it. Keep time returned separate from cash.
Your first week
Start with one useful control.
- Day 1 · Choose
- Run your free Leak Check. Pick one priority, record the starting position and identify the source you will use to check progress.
- Days 2–6 · Act
- If you join Control Room, set your venue and departments, add the first action, agree an owner and deadline, and record progress as the work happens.
- Day 7 · Review
- Check what was completed, what remains open and whether the issue returned. Record only supported outcomes and choose next week’s action.
- Day 30 · Decide
- Review weekly use, effort required and any source-checked value against the membership fee. Decide whether the tool has earned its place.
Need help choosing the first action? Ask for setup support. Share the control issue; keep guest, employee and payment details out of your message.
Try it with your own operation.
The Leak Check is free, with no signup or card. Control Room is a separate, optional membership at £30/month per property, billed in GBP each month until cancelled. Savings are not guaranteed.
